<p>Dmitry Liss is a representative of the Moscow conductor’s school and a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (Dmitry Kitayenko’s class).<span id="more-121"></span></p>
<p>Awards:</p>
<p>– Winner of the LOVRO FON MATAČIĆ First International Conductors Competition in Zagreb, Croatia (1995)</p>
<p>– Winner of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Governor’s Award in Literature and Art (2001)</p>
<p>– Named as a “Conductor of the Year” by Russian newspaper “Music Review” (Moscow, 2002)</p>
<p>– The Russian Federation State Award in Literature and Art (2008) for outstanding contribution to the development of philharmonic activity in Russia (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated June 4, 2009, No.626)</p>
<p>– People’s Artist of Russia National Award (2011)</p>
<p>Dmitry Liss has recently worked with the Russian National Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, State Symphony Orchestra New Russia, the National Orchestra of France, the National Orchestra of Lille, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and symphony orchestras of Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, Poland, etc.</p>
<p>Dmitry Liss has led the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra for 17 years; he has achieved new creative heights while also preserving and enriching the traditions of his predecessors.</p>
<p>Dmitry Liss and the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra have been on more than 20 tours in 10 countries (Spain, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Japan, and the United States).</p>

<p>The graduate of the Ural State Conservatory (cello and symphonic conducting classes). He was studying to the class of the people’s artist, Prof. M.I. Paverman. The conductor of the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra (UPO) since 1991.<span id="more-524"></span></p>
<p>Enkhe’s international debut was in Germany in 1996. In 1998 – 2006 Enkhe had been leading the Chamber Orchestra of the Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic Society and teaching orchestra classes at the Ural State Conservatory.</p>
<p>Third prize Winner of the VI International Prokofiev Competition (Saint-Petersburg, 2003).</p>
<p>As the UPO’s conductor Enkhe performs more than 30 programs per season. He cooperated with well-known soloists. Among them there are Dmitry Kogan, Naum Sctarkman, Dmitry Bashkirov, Vladimir Krainev, Eliso Virsaladze, Paul Badura-Skoda, Natalya Gutman, Aleksandr Rudin.</p>
<p>Among the distinguished projects with maestro’s participation are the International Piano duo Festival in Yekaterinburg, opera concert performance George Gershwin’s the Porgy and Bess and playing of the suite The Ring of the Nibelung by Wagner as well as the «Russian Seasons in Paris: 100 years» art and fashion festival and the co-project of the Sverdlovsk and Moscow Philharmonic Societies called «Fairytales with the Orchestra».</p>
<p>In 2006 and 2010 Enkhe admirably runs the Gala concerts of the Russian open composer contest «Peter and a Wolf» which turned to be a remarkable event in the music life of Russia. This is the contest for creation of original compositions of symphonic music for children.</p>
<p>Maestro Enkhe was one of the originators of the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra creation, which combines functions of both concert team and a Philharmonic academy. Since 2007 he has been its principal conductor. The orchestra-academy headed by Enkhe makes over 20 programs every year, performing in more than 30 concerts within the subscription series on the stage of Big Concert Hall of the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Society and its branches. The orchestra is involved in the educational programs for the higher education institutions of Yekaterinburg and charitable projects for orphanage. Leaded by Enkhe the orchestra participated in internationally recognized festivals and projects such as Eurochestries, the European Youth Orchestra Festival (Russia in 2007, France in 2008); The third Music Festival «Crescendo», Art Director Denis Matsuev (Yekaterinburg, 2007); concert in the Big Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in subscription concert series of the Moscow Philharmonic Society (2009). Furthermore, thanks to his initiative and prestige, Enkhe could attract the leading orchestral music-making specialists of Russia to the educational program of the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra. In  August 2012  UPO under conduction  of  maestro Enkhe  presented Russia in International  Music Festival  «Young Euro Classic»  in  Berlin  and  join  the number of  the best   Youths  Symphonic  Orchestras  in the world.</p>
<p>For the circle of concerts «Evenings with the big orchestra» and his contribution to creating of the Philharmonic Academy and the project «Music available to all» maestro Enkhe is honored with the Governor’s Award of the Sverdlovsk region «For excellence in Literature and Arts» (2009, 2011).</p>

<p>Alexey Dorkin graduated from the Faculty of Military Conductors of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in 1987. He worked as a military conductor for three years. In 1990, A. Dorkin was invited to the Ural Academic Philharmonic Orchestra to work as a first-chair flute concertmaster. Being a virtuosic performer, he very soon became not only one of the leading orchestra musicians, but also an outstanding soloist. <span id="more-485"></span></p>
<p>In 1991, A.Yu. Dorkin spearheaded the project of a new performance group directed by him — the Woodwind Lorelei-Quintett. A. Dorkin, a talented and enterprising musician, is not only the leader of the ensemble, but also the author of numerous proposals for the woodwind quintet and other instrumental groups. In 2009, his quintet was awarded the first prize at the Yuzhnouralsk-Salzburg International Competition. </p>
<p>In 2004, Alexey Dorkin undertook an internship at the Mussorgsky Ural State Conservatory, majoring in opera and symphony conducting, and in 2004 he was appointed the conductor of the Ural Academic Philharmonic Orchestra.</p>
<p>In 2005, A.Yu. Dorkin was awarded the honorary title of the Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation.</p>
<p>In 2006, he conducted opera performances at the Ekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater and since 2008 he has been directing the Students’ Symphonic Orchestra at the Mussorgsky Ural State Conservatory. In 2008, Alexey Dorkin undertook an internship, majoring in musical audio-directing, at the conservatory.</p>
<p>In 2009, in cooperation with the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments at the Ural Conservatory, A.Yu. Dorkin founded a students’ wind orchestra. The orchestra directed by Alexey Dorkin took part in festivals and competitions in Ekaterinburg (2010, the Grand Prix) and in Nesebar (2011, Bulgaria, the First Prize).</p>
<p>Alexey Dorkin is an enthusiastic participant of concerts held by the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic. Since 2011, he has been directing the Bach Festival Orchestra that was organized with his active participation.</p>
<p>In 2011, Alexey Dorkin received the Governor Award for the concert programs – Music Comprehensible to Everyone.</p>
